Well for the last 5 years I have been walking the same way until I decided to try a different route. This Spring, the brand held a grand opening for its new New York City location that happens to be right around the corner from its original location in Soho. Rick Ross + Mr.Brainwash invited us to the Listening of Boss Basel The Rather You Than Me

The day before 20 years of Biggie’s death you can feel that hip hop is very different than the beefs and rivalries of the 90s. Rick Ross’s music is definitely popular and images of him with a crown is very reminiscent of BIG during his popular time. Nonetheless the artwork displayed by Mr. Brainwash and his collaboration with Rick Ross for his album listening party exuded the culture in a very positive way. The music was very much the sounds of Ross we have grown to love over the past decade. He brought along some of his featured guest such as Chris Rock, Young M.A, and his family Meek Mill and Wale. Belaire Champagne of course was flowing alongside Goldbar Whiskey to the sounds of his new album, The Boss Basel The Rather You Than Me.  (more…)
