Chloe Sevigney & Kate Foley Celebrate Vintage with Vestiaire Collective

One of the reigning queens of vintage Ms. Chloe Sevigney has partnered with Vintage on Vestiaire Collective and this past Wednesday she and Kate Foley, the Contributing Fashion Director held a cocktail party to celebrate the launch of vintage on the site. Vestiaire Collective is a global marketplace for resale of high end curated vintage items including limited edition pieces from YSL, Prada, Maison Margiela and more.

It all started in 2009 with the aim of offering a community platform on which members are able to buy and sell top of the range and pre-owned luxury clothes and accessories. The catalogue is comprised of the most inspiring items the come from hundred of thousand users wardrobes throughout the world. Each week more than 20,000 new items are added to strengthen a permanent catalogue of 400,000 products. Reebok Fithub and Future in NYC

Talk about a comeback? Back in 2005 Adidas bought Reebok and since then Adidas has capitalized on its own collaborations with celebrities. And now Reebok has collaborated with hip-hop recording artist Future. Currently for his first collaboration, it debuted as only apparel. The Reebok Classic x Freebandz Capsule Collection made its way to stores back in the Fall and of course when New York City wants to debut its newest pre-grand opening for a brand, they call on one of hip hop’s biggest stars to host the exclusive event. Daniel Patrick Opens Soho Retail Location

High end streetwear clothing brand opened its doors in NYC’s Soho neighborhood and held a store opening last night. From men’s, women’s and children clothing, there was designer streetwear for everyone. The brand was launched in early 2012 and also has a location on Melrose Ave in Los Angeles, California. Polish Fashion Week NYC

Polish Fashion Week Pop Up was held in Chelsea Market last month. The pop up showcased 9 different designers from Poland with a full range apparel and accessories. Inglot has been one of the rising cosmetics lines over the past few years and has become one of my top ten go to choices for lipsticks. At the Garden State Plaze in Paramus, NJ whenever the Mac counters are full, I’d run over to Inglot. Hopefully they will start sponsoring more events like Maybelline and Mac, but for the week the brand helped the New York fashion scene discover Polish fashion. Take a look.  (more…)
